[Ended] HAPPY CHRISTMAS and TREES with Kobe Design University
We will install a tree mural in front of the front desk in the hope that everyone visiting the hotel will have a wonderful time.
Decorate the tree with cards with wishes and messages written on it to create a one-of-a-kind tree!
The tree mural was hand-painted by students of the Hironaka Seminar, led by Associate Professor Kaoru Hironaka of the Visual Design Department at Kobe Design University.
Paintings depicting each person's wishes are placed around them like present boxes, decorating the front of the reception desk.
The works will be on display until December 26, 2023 (Tuesday). Please take a look not only when staying overnight, but also when using CANVAS Lounge as a cafe or bar.

Mr. Kaoru Hironaka
Born in Kamakura. Graduated from Tama Art University, majoring in oil painting (contemporary art course). /Produced in 2 ateliers, Kamakura + Kobe Kitano. Develops artwork in a variety of media regardless of genre. 2D (magazines, advertisements, books, CDs, etc.), 3D, CG production, title logo and character production, stage photography art, mural painting, and live painting production. Exhibitions held both domestically and internationally.
He is also active in a wide range of other activities, including exhibition planning and workshops.
Member of TIS Tokyo Illustrators Society. Associate professor at Kobe Design University.

We created a [TREES] mural in front of the front desk, hoping that all of our guests and guests staying in Kobe will have a wonderful time. We are currently holding an art project in collaboration with the hotel where guests can participate, with the idea of ``Let's decorate the tree with cards with wishes and messages written on it to create a one-of-a-kind tree in the world!'' !
Many plain and easy-to-use Christmas cards were created by Vd. Hironakazemi students. Guests are welcome to add their thoughts and wishes to the card and display it freely like an ornament. Additionally, an exhibition of Christmas canvas works by seminar students has started around the [TREES] mural.
For the upcoming season, we will create a fun Christmas space at the hotel.
