[Finished] Frame flower making workshop to convey feelings with calligraphy

On Saturday, March 11, 2023, we will be holding a modern calligraphy lesson and a frame flower making workshop Event at CANVAS Lounge.

Calligraphy is a way to make handwritten letters look beautiful. Modern calligraphy is an extension of calligraphy, allowing you to express your individuality through a typeface that you have personally adapted. In this lesson, after learning the basics of calligraphy, you will create a framed flower with an adapted message.

March is the season of encounters and partings. Why not create a framed flower that is perfect for sending to someone you want to express your gratitude to, along with a handwritten message?

Being able to write beautiful letters will allow you to put more feeling into small message cards, autographs, work notes, etc. Pens and ink will be provided for the lesson, so even beginners are welcome to join.

Lecturer: Kyoko Yamamoto

In 2016, she discovered modern calligraphy and became fascinated by its highly designed letters. She began writing calligraphy in earnest in 2018, and has been providing products that incorporate letters into everyday life, such as wedding and baby items and interior decor. In addition to paper items, she has worked on a wide range of products, including the creation of original products that combine letters with mirrors, acrylic, and imported products, including place cards for weddings and Event, sign design, and logo production.

In the lessons, participants not only learn to write letters, but also suggest ways to incorporate the crafts they create into their daily lives.
