In recent years, there have been several reports of mobile batteries (portable chargers) and smartphones overheating, emitting smoke, or even catching fire in Japan and overseas as well. These accidents can happen anywhere without warning—and hotel rooms are no exception.
To ensure the safety and comfort of all our guests, we kindly ask for your cooperation to follow precautions when using mobile batteries and smartphones in guest rooms:

・Please refrain from charging mobile batteries and smartphones when you are not in the room.
・When charging mobile batteries or using them to charge electrical devices and smartphones, do not place them near windows with direct sunlight or on flammable surfaces such as bedding.
・To prevent any unforeseen incidents during charging, please place your devices where they can be easily monitored at all times.

If any of the above situations are observed during room cleaning, our staff will relocate the mobile batteries and smartphones or stop the charging process for safety reasons.
