Lacquered chopsticks "color scheme"
These lacquered chopsticks have an interesting colorful color scheme.
By applying colors chosen as the mood strikes, the pieces are carefully lacquered in color combinations that can only be found at the time, and the colors are carefully mixed and the hardening speed adjusted, even though it is difficult to achieve bright colors with lacquer.
These chopsticks will bring change to your daily dining table.
Chopstick rest "tefutefu"
Chopstick rests with a fluttering butterfly motif.
The white porcelain body features butterfly wings made of colored lacquer and mother-of-pearl. The back is round and sways gently.
Like butterflies fluttering from flower to flower, they lure us in to enjoy a delicious meal.
Lacquerware brand "suosikki"
We, suosikki, are a lacquerware brand established by three classmates from the Kyoto City University of Arts' lacquer arts department. We aim to create high-quality products by mastering the entire process from undercoating to painting and lacquering, and we are mainly active in the Kansai region.
Combining traditional techniques with newly developed lacquer techniques and materials, we are constantly exploring new designs and expressions that fit into modern life. "Color Scheme" is a pair of lacquered chopsticks that will make you feel interesting with their colorful color schemes. The chopsticks are painted with colors chosen as the mood strikes, resulting in color combinations that can only be found at that time. It is difficult to produce bright colors with lacquer, so we pay close attention to everything from mixing the colors to adjusting the hardening speed in order to achieve the color we imagine. We actively use colors other than the black and red commonly seen in lacquer, so we hope you will try them out when you want to add variety to your daily dining table.
"Tefutefu" is a chopstick rest with a fluttering butterfly motif. The body is made of white porcelain, and the surface is decorated with colored lacquer and mother-of-pearl to represent butterfly wings. The rounded bottom allows the chopsticks to sway gently, stopping when you place them on the rest, and swaying a little when you lift them up. It's like a butterfly flitting from flower to flower, inviting us to enjoy a delicious meal. Try combining it with your own chopsticks to create various butterflies.
