"Puyo Puyo" Collaboration
From May 1st (Fri) to June 30th (Tue), 2026, we will be holding a collaboration event with "Puyo Puyo," a game born in Hiroshima. "Puyo Puyo," an action puzzle game that has been loved by a wide range of generations for many years since its release, celebrates its 35th anniversary this year. Our hotel will be offering Accommodation Plan includes a stay in a "Puyo Puyo" collaboration room, supervised by Sega Corporation, and comes with original novelty goods.

A limited-edition "Puyo Puyo" collaboration room, available only once per day, is now open. Upon entering the room, you'll be greeted by popular characters Arle and Carbuncle. In addition, a tapestry featuring characters celebrating the 35th anniversary and a foot throw designed with past "Puyo Puyo" games will transport you to the world of "Puyo Puyo." Exclusive original novelty items, only available to hotel guests, are also provided. Enjoy a special moment immersed in the world of "Puyo Puyo."

What is "Puyo Puyo"?
"Puyo Puyo" is an action puzzle game that originated in Hiroshima Prefecture and has been loved around the world for over 30 years since its release. The original "Puyo Puyo" was released in 1991 for MSX2 and Famicom Disk System, and the following year, 1992, Sega released arcade and Mega Drive versions. Its simple and easy-to-understand rules of connecting four or more "Puyo" of the same color to eliminate them, its cute characters, and the introduction of a competitive gameplay format—a first for falling-block action puzzle games—led to a massive hit. The series has continued to evolve since then, and has been released on various platforms such as home game consoles, PCs, and smartphones, and is enjoyed by a wide range of people across generations.
Furthermore, as a title officially recognized by JESU (Japan Esports Association), it has attracted attention in the esports scene where professional players are active, and fierce battles are being fought both domestically and internationally. In 2026, Puyo Puyo will celebrate its 35th anniversary and will continue to deliver the fun of "big chains" to everyone.
