Crossing a dedicated suspension bridge over the Kiyotaki River, you'll find a riverbed built to jut out over the river.
Kyoto's summer is full of charm, with the sounds of frogs singing and fireflies dancing as the sun sets in June. Enjoy Momijiya's riverside dining, where you can feel nature on your skin and savor the coolness with all your senses.

① Limited-time event: "An Evening of Firefly Viewing"
Period: June 1st (Mon) - June 30th (Tue), 2026
Details: After your meal, the lights will be turned off for about 15 minutes so you can enjoy the light of the fireflies flitting about.
*Please note that viewing may be unavailable depending on the weather.
② An evening of dining on a riverside terrace
Period: July 1st, 2026 (Wed) - September 23rd, 2026 (Wed/Public Holiday)
Contents: You can enjoy watching a Kyoto-style dance performance by a maiko (apprentice geisha) and take photos with her.
Both plans include the opportunity to watch a Kyoto-style dance performance by a geisha or maiko, and to take photos with them, every Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and on public holidays.

*Please note that there may be delays in arrival and departure due to traffic conditions.

*From Monday, June 1st to Tuesday, June 30th, 2026, departure and arrival times will be delayed by approximately 15 minutes due to firefly viewing at the site.

Around 17:30: Departure: A shuttle bus will pick you up near the Mos Burger at JR Nijo Station.
*Transportation to Nijō Station is at the customer's expense.
