Warning! Phishing text sent to Booking.com users.

We have recently confirmed that a number of our future guests who had made a reservation through "Booking.com" received phishig texts impersonating our reservation agents.
The text was sent via messaging apps WhatsApp and contains a message stating that the reservation will be canceled when no response is made along with a URL that leads to a malicious phishing site.
From a preventative standpoint, when you receive a suspicious text this sort, please do not respond or access the provided URL.
Please do note that The Royal Park Hotels never contact our guests via any of the messaging applications. We, hence, strongly advise not to open the URL that appears in the text for your safety.
At this point, we have not confirmed any personal data leakage or breaches from our systems, and we are currently conducting an investigation with Booking.com.
Should there be any further inquiries, please contact Booking.com Customer Service in your region or call Booking.com Japan Customer Service +81-3-6743-6650 (Available 24/7)
