A summer tradition in Kyoto: "Kawadoko" (riverside dining)
It's now the season for "Kawadoko," a quintessential summer experience in Kyoto.

清滝川に架かる専用の吊り橋を渡り、川に張り出すようにつくられた川床。
河鹿鳴き、陽が落ちれば6月には蛍が舞う、風情にあふれた京の夏。自然を肌で感じ、五感で涼を味わうもみぢ家の川床料理。
鮎の炭焼き・あまごや沢蟹の天ぷらなどをお楽しみいただけます。

内 容：お食事後、15分程度照明を消し、源氏ボタルの飛び交う光をお楽しみいただきます。

②川床料理の夕べ
期 間：2026年7月1日(水)～2026年9月23日(水・祝)
開放的な川床席で舞妓さんとの語らいや、京舞をお楽しみください。
上記①②のプランともに、金・土・日曜日、祝日は、川床席に舞妓さんがお邪魔します。舞妓さんとの語らいや、京舞をお楽しみください。記念写真もお撮りいただけます。

*Please note that there may be delays in arrival and departure due to traffic conditions.
*The return trip is scheduled to depart from the riverside restaurant between 8:10 PM and 8:20 PM.
*From Monday, June 1st, 2026 to Tuesday, June 30th, 2026, departure and arrival times on the return trip will be delayed by approximately 15 minutes due to firefly viewing at the site.

<Outbound>
Around 17:20, the shuttle bus will depart from the southwest corner of the Karasuma Oike intersection (in front of the Seven-Eleven, opposite the Karasuma Oike Hello Work office). *Approximately a 5-minute walk from the hotel.

Arrived at "Kyoto Takao Momijiya" around 18:00.
↓
18:00-18:30 Dinner begins

Departure by shuttle bus around 8:00 PM

Arrived near Karasuma Oike intersection around 21:30.

貴船神社の社家を務めてきた由緒ある家筋にあたる料理旅館が営む右源太は、貴船川の上流に位置し、清らかなせせらぎと豊かな緑に囲まれた贅沢な場所にあります。貴船の川床は、貴船川の上に座敷席を設けているため、せせらぎに包まれながら料理をお召し上がりください。
