Obtaining mental barrier-free certification for tourist facilities
The Royal Park Hotel Iconic Kyoto was certified on November 10, 2025 under the "Mental Barrier-Free Certification System for Tourist Facilities" established by the Japan Tourism Agency, Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism.
The "Mental Barrier-Free Certification System for Tourist Facilities" aims to support further barrier-free measures at tourist facilities and the dissemination of information about them, thereby promoting the creation of an environment that allows elderly people and people with disabilities to travel safely and comfortably.
