Royal Park Hotels [ECO PROJECT 2025]

As part of its efforts towards the SDGs, Royal Park Hotels will be implementing the "ECO PROJECT 2025", a series of eco-friendly projects to help guests get through the hot summer while being environmentally conscious. These include the traditional practice of "uchimizu" (sprinkling water on the ground) to invite coolness, power saving measures at all group hotels, and the use of cooling goods.

◆Uchimizu

We will be conducting the traditional Japanese custom of sprinkling water outdoors to cool down in an environmentally friendly way without using electricity. This will be done in the early morning before the temperature rises and in the evening when the temperature starts to drop, inviting in the coolness.

Period: July 21st (Monday, holiday) to August 3rd (Sunday), 2025 *On sunny days
*At some hotels, guests staying with eligible plans can also participate.

◆Energy saving

This year, to coincide with "Energy Conservation Check Day," which has been set as an opportunity to review energy consumption, all hotels will implement energy-saving measures, such as raising the cooling setting temperature of air conditioners in public spaces by 1°C.

- Welcome guests with cool merchandise -
To express our appreciation to guests who visit the hotel in this heat, we will be giving away free fans with handles made from environmentally friendly, sustainable bamboo.

*These will be given to the first 100 guests at each hotel (200 guests at Royal Park Hotel (Tokyo, Nihonbashi)) upon check-in.
Distribution dates: August 1st (Fri) to 3rd (Sun), 2025

We will continue to work with our guests to take energy and environmentally conscious measures, striving as a hotel to promote the SDGs and contribute to the global environment.
