For three days only, from December 23rd (Tue) to 25th (Thu), 2025, The Royal Park Hotel Kyoto Umekoji will be offering a Christmas dinner buffet featuring a wide variety of approximately 20 dishes, including a whole roast chicken, a seafood bouillabaisse, and a colorful crab and vegetable jelly.

<Main dish>
Whole roast chicken
A special table will be set up in a corner of the buffet line, where our chef will provide a roast chicken cutting service. The whole roast chicken is slowly roasted, crispy and fragrant on the outside and plump and juicy on the inside. The aroma of herbs and garlic will whet your appetite. Two types of sauces are available: "Green Pepper Sauce," which combines unripe peppercorns with Madeira wine for a refreshing spiciness, and "Honey Mustard Sauce," which combines seeded mustard with honey for a crunchy texture and a rich aroma. Please choose the sauce that best suits your taste.

Roast beef wrapped in vegetables
This hearty dish features our prized roast beef wrapped in colorful vegetables and topped with a rich, creamy hollandaise sauce.
bouillabaisse
Enjoy this deep-flavored soup, based on tomatoes and aromatic vegetables, packed with the umami flavors of seafood such as shrimp, mussels, and cod.

Crab and colorful vegetable jelly
Colorful vegetables such as peppers and broccoli are mixed with crab and solidified in gelatin, and the delicious flavor of the crab trapped in the jelly spreads with each bite, making this a delightful dish with a chewy texture and the crunchy vegetables.
Smoked silver salmon salad
Fatty silver salmon smoked with cherry wood chips for a fragrant finish, served with fresh vegetables in a salad.
Served with a Japanese-style dressing that has a refreshingly tart lemon flavor, the smoky aroma is enhanced.

The lineup includes stollen, a traditional Christmas cake originating from Germany, as well as strawberry cakes made with plenty of fresh cream, chocolate gateau, apple pie, and more. Enjoy as many of your favorite sweets as you like.

Freshly grilled beef served in pita bread. Enjoy it with every bite.
Pancetta and perilla carbonara
This creamy carbonara is easy for children to eat, and is served with just the right amount of salty pancetta. Enjoy the aroma of the shiso leaves when you eat it.
